Do I Need A Prescription From My Doctor?
No! New Jersey Occupational Therapists and Hand Therapists can treat without a prescription for up to 30 days. After this time, I will work with you to either obtain a prescription from your doctor, or help you find a qualitied physician to assess your needs. If you require a prescription for your insurance company if you are submitting superbills, I can help facilitate obtaining a prescription.
"My therapist, Elizabeth made me feel welcomed and she helped ease my fears. I thought I'd never be able to do the things I love so much and she told me that she WILL get me there and believed that I would accomplish my goal. And I did, thanks to her!"
"I saw Liz after breaking a couple bones in my hand. She was very caring and listened well to what was going on and was great at customizing hand exercises to help me regain function. I would definitely recommend. If I ever need hand therapy again, I will definitely be back"
"The hand specialists are magicians. It felt like I was hanging out with friends. They were empathetic, friendly and even though they were encouraging me to move what needed to be moved, they respected my comfort level"
